Just another thing that eats up money and makes the single people feel lonely.
If you love someone then you don't need a specific day to show it or go to town.
That's what anniversaries are for, and if you're going out with someone then you show your love through other things not just a grabbing money event.
You don't need Valentine's Day as a day to buy the mrs a bunch of flowers and cook a meal, just do that anyway every once in a while.
Maybe I'm just a boring and miserable sod.
It's annoying when people are like 'so get any Valentines cards??'....ermmmmm 'nope, and I don't want any!!!'

Nothing beats the element of suprise, better doing something like that now and then when they least expect it, means alot more and shows your still in love and thinking about her, plus it gets you browny points lol
