Is anyone here intrested or in the middle of writing a book? I have been toying with idea for a few years now. It would be a self help/ inspirational book. I was thinking of calling it if you can do then so can I. What do you guys think of the title?

It's a great idea Fire.

I've tried writing books myself, but normally give up.

It's about sticking with it and giving it a lot of time.

I find you get a lot of satisfaction from writing a book.

You say self help/inspirational, but about what exactly? http://images.digita

Umm not sure Thomas lol
There are loads of topics I would love to write about. I would like to help people to change their life, get behind the driving wheel so to speak and take control. Its mainly fear that hold us back and stops us becoming the person we want to be. Wouldnt it be great to have no fears or hang up's about yourself? anyway thats the theory behind it.

That sounds a good idea and I think it would grab interest.

Just jot down ideas and do drafts then you can perfect it at the end.

I used 'lulu' to create a book. Do a Google search.

You create your book then upload it to lulu. You can create the book cover and everything on there if I remember rightly.

People can then buy your book off lulu. You're obviously going to want a copy, but you only pay the cost to produce it. If someone else, like myself, wanted to buy it then I'd pay the retail price which would include profits for you.

Take a look if you're interested. You can make and sell all sorts on lulu. http://images.digita

More often than not self help books require the author to have a background or some success in helping individuals prior to the release of the book, so yeah, it's a difficult area to get into, particularly if you don't have a background in that particular area of study. I suppose it depends on what kinda publication you want to produce, but if you're going in cold you'll need to have a fairly interesting angle to convey to the publishing houses, otherwise forget about it.
