    Should have posted this a day or two ago but was fairly busy so yeah, just a tribute to a great composer who had a wonderful gift for melody, with so many of his tunes standing the test of time, and don't forget he's the sound of Bond for a few generations of movie goers.

    I consider myself very fortunate to have attended a performance of all his greatest pieces in Dublin by our national orchestra, with him in attendance! He seemed frail even at that stage but he actually went down and conducted a few tracks himself, and then sat up a few seats away from me to listen to the rest of the performance. Just a great night.

    Nope. Don't know who he is. Only seen the Bond films none of the others.
