You know, it's my first time watching for years and I have to say that the standard of songwriting and production values have climbed big time. Ok, you still get the dodgy lyrics and the odd clanger of a song, but it wasn't too bad really.

Oh, and that German song was too good for the Eurovision. Felt like a genuine pop track.

Why do countries like Ireland and the UK even bother? The voting is a farce.

Azerbaijan's song is so crap. Farce of a show, and it had been winning me over slightly before the voting.

My favourite act was Hungary.

Nice to see Ireland supported us. Rolling Eyes

We gave you 6 points, which was about fair.

I dislike Jedward, but it actually wasn't that bad a song. Blue's was only so-so.

Regardless, would have been nice for them to give us some more.

I don't even find Euro-vision entertaining. I have nothing else to watch and don't think it should be taken seriously in the slightest.

Obviously. It was a disgrace how countries were voting. Ireland and the Uk will never win again.

I don't think that is the case.

I know the UK haven't won in a while, but, of course, there's always hope.

And your reasoning behind such a strong opinion which you state in a factual way?

Go on wikipedia or whatever and see how the other countries voted. No chance.

I can't be bothered. http://images.digita

I presume the countries just vote for their favourites.

Always darling. Look at Bosnia and that crowd. It's boring at this stage.

The best song in that competition was Germany's one... I think anyway. But it was too good for the Eurovision. I'll bet you anything that it does well in the European charts.
